Fragrance has always been more than a luxury. It is a language. IFTA was formed to speak it properly: with unhurried composition, careful judgment, and nothing said before it is true.
In the old souks of the East, in the quiet workrooms of Indian attar-makers, in the perfume houses of Europe, scent has been used for centuries to carry identity, devotion and memory. IFTA belongs to that lineage rather than to a season's trend.
The maison was formed around the craft itself: years spent studying, decanting and living with scent, then paying attention to the fragrances people asked about days later rather than the ones that impressed for a minute.
Our name, IFTA, holds the spirit of opening: opening a bottle, opening a memory, opening a door into a house that intends to be here for a long time.
